Two armed robbers have stolen thousands of pounds after holding up a travel agency.
The two men burst into the Co-operative Travel branch in the Failsworth district of Manchester on Saturday afternoon.
They handed over a note to a cashier, demanding money before one of the men brandished a black handgun.
The pair stole thousands of pounds before fleeing on a moped.
Detective Constable Leigh Carnally told the Manchester Evening News: “Both staff members have been left shocked and upset and we are determined to find out who is responsible.
“The company have been targeted on a busy Saturday afternoon and I believe someone may have seen something.”
One of the men was white, 5ft 6in tall, of stocky build, had ginger hair, wore a baseball cap and a grey hoody with dark grey sleeves. He was also carrying a multi- coloured crash helmet.
The second man was white, 5ft 4in, of skinny build and wore a white t-shirt and dark trousers.
Both spoke with local accents and each are believed to have had one dark leather glove on one of their hands.
