Following your July 12 story headlined “Ansett &Air Pacific to cut Commission”I would like to re-emphasise that this refers to Ansett New Zealand and not Ansett Australia.
Ansett Australia policy is to maintain existing commission levels to the UKtrade at 9% on all Ansett Australia tickets, including its biggest UKseller, the G’Day Air Pass.
Ansett Australia is 50% owned by Air New Zealand and is a member of the Star Alliance.
Ansett New Zealand is a totally separate entity.
