Big two agree Premier League club deals

Thomson Sport has agreed a three-year deal to become the official supplier of supporter travel for Premier League champions Manchester City.

At the same time rival Thomas Cook Sport renewed a deal as official supplier of team, club and supporter travel for Tottenham Hotspur.

Thomson Sport will provide Manchester City fans with official match break packages for all matches at the Etihad Stadium and travel packages for European away matches.

Thomas Cook Sport will fulfill all travel requirements for Spurs, including the club’s upcoming tour of the US and Canada and its 2014/15 UEFA Europa League campaign.

Manchester City sales, service and operations director Danny Wilson said: “As the club’s profile continues to grow in new markets around the world, it was important to work with a company that has a robust global network of connections.

“Through teaming up with Thomson Sport, we can ensure our supporters will be provided with the best possible service, whether following the team at home or abroad.”

Spurs head of business development Aidan Mullally said: “The club has enjoyed working with Thomas Cook Sport since 2007 and we are delighted to extend our relationship with them.

“We are particularly excited about Thomas Cook Sport’s shared vision to deliver exceptional travel services for our global supporter base at a time when our official supporters club programme goes from strength to strength.”
