Princess Cruises is to offer a new chocolate range on board after partnering with chocolatier Norman Love.
The range will be unveiled on Regal Princess during its inaugural Caribbean season and then rolled out to the rest of the fleet in 2015.
The line will offer 15 new and exclusive chocolate desserts for the main dining room menu, while chocolate truffles will be served at the Captain’s welcome party.
A range of chocolate-inspired cocktails have also been created, as well as spa treatments such as a whipped chocolate body mask.
The partnership will see chocolate and wine pairings on board, as well as dessert demonstrations hosted by the onboard pastry chefs who have been trained by Norman Love.
Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’ managing director UK and Europe, said: “A cruise is often an indulgent experience so the introduction of a chocolate range will perfectly complement our on board experience. Regardless of where chocolate lovers are on a ship there will be an opportunity for them to spoil themselves.”
Love said: “One thing is for certain; chocolate makes people happy. So, what I create and what Princess Cruises offers its guests are quite similar – what could make people smile more than savouring decadent chocolate creations while enjoying their cruise?”
