Free upgrades from Club World to first class are being offered by British Airways on selected long-haul flights.
The offer covers outbound travel until December 31 and inbound travel until January 7, 2015.
Business class passengers will be able to upgrade on one leg of their journey free of charge, and make use of first class facilities on board and at the airport.
The promotion coincides with a sale being run by the airline until September 23 which sees New York return in Club World costing from £1,595, Los Angeles at £2,495 and Tokyo at £2,500.
The airline’s first class cabins accommodate between 14 and 17 ‘suites’ with lie-flat seats, personal lighting and electronic blind, a 15-inch entertainment screen, noise-cancelling headsets and a leather-topped writing desk.
BA head of product and service Kate Thornton said: “This is a great opportunity to thank and reward our customers, as well as giving them a chance to experience our luxurious First cabin and tailored service.”
