Thomson Holidays has appointed Thomson Breakaway commercial director Lee Ormesher as its new overseas holiday service director.
Ormesher replaces Nigel David who has been appointed managing director of Lunn Poly. She will be responsible for 2,000 overseas staff and will also oversee the launch of new initiatives for summer 2000. These include the introduction of Troubleshooters who will sort out customers’ problems and the launch of a 24hr telephone hotline called Thomson Holiday Line.
Ormesher, who will join the Thomson Holidays board, begins her new role on August 9.
