AmaWaterways will offer interconnecting cabins on its two new ships – AmaSerena and AmaVista – which launch next year.
The vessels will join AmaReina, AmaPrima and AmaCerto to sail on the Danube, Main and Rhine from next spring.
Kristin Karst, AmaWaterways executive vice president and co-owner, said: “We are delighted to welcome AmaSerena and AmaVista to our European fleet, and to be responsive to the rising demand for new ship design and offerings in this particular region.
“With a distinctive approach to offering unparalleled service and comfort, these two beauties are best-in-class. They will undoubtedly further our mission of bringing unforgettable river cruising experiences to AmaWaterways travellers.”
The 164-passenger AmaSerena and AmaVista will offer twin balconies. A new feature is the line’s connecting cabins with both vessels featuring a number of joint staterooms, beneficial for families and group bookings.
In addition, guests onboard AmaSerena and AmaVista will have access to massage services, fitness rooms, sun decks and heated swimming pools with swim-up bars. Complimentary unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are served with lunch and dinner and complimentary bottled water is provided daily in all staterooms.
The ships’ 2015 itineraries include a seven night Enchanting Rhine cruise from Amsterdam to Basel.
