Eastern European low cost carrier Wizz Air is to expand its fleet with seven Airbus A320s.
The aircraft are planned for delivery between November and June next year.
The are being acquired in a sale and leaseback agreement with leasing firm Goshawk Aviation and will bring the Wizz Air fleet up to more than 60 aircraft.
Goshawk is managed by Investec Bank with capital from Investec and Asian institutional partners.
Wizz Air chief financial officer Mike Powell said: “We continue to secure our future growth by adding new Airbus A320 aircraft to our fleet.
“I am pleased with the confidence that Goshawk has in our current business and future growth plan.
“We will continue to serve people in well over 30 countries with our very low fares and the seven new aircraft for which we have secured financing, will play an important role in this mission.”
