Travel Network Group to focus Worldchoice TV channel on all-inclusives

The Travel Network Group is to focus its Worldchoice TV channel on all-inclusive holidays only.

The All Inclusive Holiday Show will air monthly live on the Ideal World shopping channel, offering exclusive all-inclusive holidays in four and five-star hotels.

The new strategy comes as a result of the success of all-inclusive holidays sold on the show compared to other trips.

The new deal with Ideal World means Worldchoice TV will run monthly shows until January 2015, and will continue to benefit from the added social media and e-marketing opportunities.

Group marketing director Si Prentice and head of retail Karen Oates will continue to present the monthly show.

Worldchoice TV is increasingly developing a loyal audience which the group says has grown since its launch last November.

It also believes that with viewing figures in the millions, the show has helped further build awareness of the Worldchoice brand.

Prentice said: “Now that we have completed 13 shows we know what works and what doesn’t on this channel.

“The holiday products offered in the show have ranged from high end, long-haul product to UK weekend breaks and we have seen the best results come from all-inclusive short-haul holidays.”

Prentice added: “We have seen an incredible amount of customer leads from the shows that have been filtered into members businesses, both online and high street, and they are delighted with how this national marketing channel can impact their local stores.

“We have made the process really easy for members to follow by putting all the holiday product used on the show on the group’s new marketing portal, which means that if a viewer watches the programme, and then goes into their local Worldchoice store to book it the next day, all the offers and availability are instantly accessible.”
