WIGHTLINK ADDS TWO PEAK FRIDAY SAILINGS
Isle of Wight ferry operator Wightlink has added two extra Friday sailings on its main route from Portsmouth to Fishbourne to meet an increase in demand for weekend short breaks. New sailings from Portsmouth are at 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
FJORD LINE FLAGS UP NEW MINI-CRUISES
Fjord Line is offering a three-day mini-cruise from Newcastle to Bergen, in Norway, from £69 in its Afjordable Norway brochure. The price includes two nights on board the cruise ferry Jupiter and buffet breakfast. Four-day mini-cruises are from £99 per person and include an overnight in Bergen on board the ship.
STENA LINE HOLDS AMSTERDAM PRICES
Stena Line has pegged its three-day Apex return fare from London to Amsterdam at £49 in the second edition of its HSS Express brochure. The company aims to undercut the equivalent Eurostar fare between the two capitals by £30.
HOVERSPEED EXTENDS SUPERSEACAT SEASON
Hoverspeed has extended the sailing season for its Newhaven-Dieppe SuperSeaCat service by one month to meet demand for the service. The route will now operate until the end of October and Hoverspeed hopes to extend it to the end of the year if bookings stay high.
