Carnival Cruise Lines promotes Baillie and Johnson

Carnival Cruise Lines has made two executive promotions within its UK team.


Iain Baillie (pictured) has been promoted to managing director of UK sales, having previously been head of sales for UK and Ireland for the line. Erin Johnson is now UK marketing director, having been promoted from her previous role as head of marketing.


Baillie joined Carnival Cruise Lines in 2012 from Complete Cruise Solutions where he represented sister brands P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess as a senior sales manager.


Johnson began her career at Sea Vacations in 2001 as a sales and marketing coordinator.


Adolfo Perez, vice president new market and new product marketing at Carnival Cruise Lines, said: “Iain and Erin have been instrumental in Carnival’s continued growth in the UK and Ireland, both in terms of building awareness through highly effective marketing campaigns as well as developing exciting new marketing and sales training initiatives for our valued travel agent partners.


“They both have a passion for cruising and are committed to expanding Carnival’s presence throughout the UK and Ireland.” 


Baillie and Johnson will continue to report into Perez, who is based in the US.
