Celebrity Cruises puts 2016-17 programme on sale four months early

Celebrity Cruises is putting its 2016-17 programme on sale, four months earlier than it usually releases its product.

The programme includes more overnights, while “double overnight” stays in port have been introduced. The line has also expanded its range of Signature Sailings, which include overnight stays that coincide with special events, such as the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Celebrity Eclipse (pictured) will return to Southampton for the sixth consecutive year, offering cruises in the Mediterranean and northern Europe.

The line has also revealed its 123Go! turn-of-year campaign, which offers a free classic drinks package, free gratuities or free onboard credit to the value of $300.

The initiative applies to cruises booked before March on departures until April 2017 in ocean-view cabins and higher grades. European cruises qualify for two of the three benefits, rest of the world cruises get one, and those in Concierge Class or higher receive all three extras.

Agents making a booking before March will earn additional bonus points in the recently launched Celebrity Rewards loyalty scheme.

Nicki Tempest-Mitchell, director of sales, said: “We have got a range of tools just a click away for agents to use on our Cruising Power website,” she said. “We have our key messages there, travel and deployment guides, and everything our agent partners need to sell.”
