American Airlines Group saw its traffic rise marginally in October.
Total revenue passenger miles for the month were 17.9 billion, up 0.2% over the same month last year.
The passenger load factor slipped slightly by 0.3 percentage points to 82.2% as carryings rose by 2.1% to 16.6 million.
The transatlantic load factor was down 5.8 points to 78.6%
The combined American Airlines/US Airways group said it expected its fourth quarter pre-tax margin excluding special charges to be about 10%-12% based on passenger revenue per available seat mile being flat to up 2%.
