Kathryn Robertson has been promoted by Air New Zealand to the role of general manager UK & Europe.
She steps up after two years in the position of UK sales and market development manager, and was previously a commercial manager for the airline.
Robertson takes over from Antony Price who recently took up the position of general manager government and corporate sales, based in Auckland.
Robertson joined Air New Zealand in 2007 as UK and Europe marketing manager, before becoming Los Angeles-based marketing director for the Americas.
She started her airline career at BMI, working in key roles across the marketing and product teams.
Chris Myers, regional general manager Americas, UK and Europe, said: “Kathryn’s strong airline background and leadership skills make her the perfect fit for the role.
“She has played an integral part in driving the success of Air New Zealand in Europe and the UK, a crucial international market for the airline, and her wealth of experience will take our UK and Europe operation to the next level of commercial success.”
