Extreme wintry weather in the northeastern US has seen hundreds of flights cancelled.
Forecasters are predicting around three feet of snow for New York, New Jersey and New England.
According to aviation data website Flightaware.com 1,400 flights have been cancelled including 600 by Delta Airlines, 280 by JetBlue Airways and 130 by Southwest.
United Airlines and American Airlines have warned services could be disrupted.
A further 1,000 flights have already been cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday and this number is expected to rise as the blizzard continues.
