New guide to Latin America launched
The Latin American Travel Association has launched the second edition of its Guide to Latin America. The book features guides to 21 countries.
Colorado extends skiing season
Ski resort Beaver Creek, Colorado, is delaying its closing date from April 16 to April 23 to be open for the Easter holiday. Vail and Beaver Creek will close on April 23, Breckenridge on April 30 and Keystone will close on May 7. Good ski conditions and commercial business are the reason for the extension.
New York convention bureau name change
The New York Convention and Visitors Bureau has changed its name to NYC and Company. As marketing for New York has increased, the tourism side has needed a separate identity from the rest of the departments. A new logo with the Empire State Building and Lady Liberty’s head dress has been created to accompany the bureau’s new identity.
