n bath spa project set for completion in 2001



The Bath Spa Project is on course to reopen in 2001. Five listed properties are being redeveloped and one new building is underconstruction. The spa will have thermal water pools, gym and massage rooms.



n breakers opens£25m health facility



The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida has opened a $25m Spa and Beach Club. The luxury facility, part of a seven-year upgrade programme,features 17 treatment rooms, including spa suites, pools and a gym.



n superbreak adds to luxury collection



Superbreak has added the Bath Spa Hotel to thesecond edition of its Luxury Hotel Collection. Thefive-star property offers a gym, indoor pool, beauty rooms and treatments. Prices lead in at £75 per person per night for dinner, bed and breakfast.



n thalassa sets sights on morocco property



Thalassa International, the Accor Group’sthelassotherapy division which currently operates 22 properties in France, is expanding into Morocco with the opening of the Sofotel ThalassaD’Essaouira next year. The four-star property will have 120 rooms and a thelassotherapy institute.



n spa dead sea added to bales range



Bales has added thefive-star Mîvenpick Resort and Spa Dead Sea to its Worldwide product range. Located in Sweimah, the property has 230 rooms, massage room, hydrotherapy pools and a whirlpool with Dead Sea views.
