n p&o pays £1.6m for lizard island lease



P&O Australian Resorts has paid Qantas £1.6m for the lease of Lizard Island, increasing its portfolioto seven resorts. Asubstantial figure hasalso been allocated for extensive refurbishment next year of the 40-room exclusive resort, located 17 miles off the coastof north Queensland. Rates start from £266per person per night.



n oceanic odyssey launch boosts nttc



The Northern Territory Tourism Commission is to run fam trips combining the Northern Territory with Balifollowing the launch ofOceanic Odyssey. The luxury ship will begincruising via the Spice Islands from July 3.Operated by Spice Island Cruises, the 120-passenger ship will sail from Darwin to Bali between July andOctober offering sevenand 14-day itineraries.
