Jet2 and easyJet holidays have issued an alert to holidaymakers after wildfires struck the Greek island of Kos.
Firefighters were reported to be tackling blazes on both Kos and Chios on Monday.
Tourists on Kos had to be evacuated from hotels as more than 100 firefighters fought a wildfire with support from water-dropping aircraft and two helicopters from Athens.

Greece saw a total of 52 wildfires breaking out in the previous 24-hour period, 44 of which were tackled in the early stages, fire department spokesperson Vasilia Vathrakoyiannis said.
Authorities were still battling a total of eight fires by Monday evening.
Jet2 said: “We are aware of the ongoing situation regarding wildfires in the Kardamena area of Kos.
“The safety and well-being of our customers and colleagues is always our first priority and we would like to advise our customers on the island to follow the guidance of the local authorities.
“Currently, our Jet2.com flights are due to operate as scheduled today and the airport remains operational.
“However, due to the situation, the airport may be congested and you may experience longer than normal wait times.”
EasyJet holidays said it was “closely monitoring the fast-evolving wildfire situation” in the Kardamena area of Kos, and working with its teams in the destination.
“We’d like to remind our customers currently in Kardamena to continue following the guidance of their hotel and the local authorities, and continue to check SMS and email for any updates from us,” the operator said.
“For customers who have been evacuated from their hotel, we have members of our easyJet holidays team at all rendezvous points, to provide further support and guidance, so we ask our customers to make themselves known to these representatives.
“For customers due to travel to Kos in the coming days, the majority of the island is currently unaffected, so holidays are going ahead as planned and our normal booking terms and conditions apply.
“We’ve proactively contacted customers due to travel to the impacted area of Kardamena, regarding their holiday.
“We ask that customers continue to check their emails, as we’ll be in touch if their holiday is impacted by the evolving situation.”
Jet2 also warned about air traffic control slot delays across the eastern Mediterranean and Balearic islands until Wednesday due to thunder storms in many parts of eastern Europe.
The operator said in an advisory on its website: “If you are currently on holiday and experiencing bad weather, please allow plenty of time to get to the airport and allow for potential bad road conditions on route.
“Our UK-based operations team is working hard to minimise disruption to our flying programme, however, you may experience some disruption if you are travelling to/from areas affected.
“All Jet2.com flights are operating. Where possible we will board flights as close to on time as possible, this will allow us to to achieve a departure as soon as we are given clearance from air traffic control.
“We apologise in advance if this causes an extended wait on board before you depart.”
