ITE homeworkers claim record January

Homeworking group Independent Travel Experts is claiming a record January with sales up 41% over the same period last year.

Bookings at the Travel Network Group division of more than 60 home-based agents hit an all-time high on January 20 with many business partners.

A restructure of the group late last year together with investment made in strengthening their business development managers has helped the division’s productivity, claimed the Travel Network Group.

Membership services director Lisa Henning said: “Whilst the industry has a mixed start to the new year, our team of homeworkers have got off to a flying start.

“Our strategy is to achieve quality over quantity with our homeworkers and the fact that 90% of our homeworking team is active demonstrates that we are attracting high performers.

“All of them have growing client bases and achieve high levels of repeat business.”

She added: “Our homeworking division is growing all the time and our Homeworkers tell us that they chose to work with us because they feel motivated, supported and valued.

“Our Homeworkers get great support from the centre and we have just renewed our contact with Traveladmin4U who we have partnered with now for two years.

“With their vast experience of the industry, they are easily the best in the business for providing admin services and we are proud to be currently the only homeworking business they work with.

“Our homeworkers can’t speak more highly of them and it’s a service they receive free of charge as a part of their overall package.”
