Baking queen Mary Berry will be among the celebrity chefs joining P&O Cruises Britannia when it launches next month.
Ten celebrity chefs will join sailings throughout the year where they will host cookery classes, host chef’s table dinners and participate in Q&A sessions and book signings.
Berry will join a 12-night British Isles cruise departing on July 6 and will be joined by Theo Randall and James Martin.
Four-Michelin-star chef Nathan Outlaw will join the 14-night Portugal, Spain & Morocco sailing departing on March 28, while three-Michelin-star chef Pierre Koffmann will join the 14-night Spain, Monaco and Italy cruise departing on June 13.
Italian chef Antonio Carluccio will join the 14-night Spain, Monaco and Italy cruise departing on October 9 and Paul Rankin will sail on the 14-night Portugal and Caribbean cruise departing on October 23.
Other chefs set to join sailings include Lawrence Keogh, James Tanner, Vivek Singh and Daniel Galmiche.
Two-hour classes will cost £100, rising to £200 when hosted by two chefs.
P&O Cruises marketing director Christopher Edgington added: “With a stellar line-up of celebrity chefs and iconic professional kitchen appliances, Britannia is taking cookery classes at sea to the next level.
“Britannia will be quite unique in offering a dedicated cookery school that not only features a chef’s demonstration kitchen but also work stations for 24 guests all fully kitted out by KitchenAid.
“I’m sure that the opportunity to join these exclusive cooking experiences will appeal to a whole new group of people who have never before considered cruising as a holiday option.”
