Imagine Cruising will offer river cruises for the first time as the operator looks to capitalise on growth in the sector.
The new programme comes following research and feedback from existing customers. Itineraries include cruises with A-Rosa, Amadeus and Viking River Cruises.
Research amongst Imagine Cruising’s customers has led to the development of a tailor-made programme for 2015 featuring 37 river cruises on the Rhone, Rhine, Danube and Seine rivers.
The operator’s research revealed that 70% of ocean cruisers would consider a river cruise, while 73% prefer tailor-made holidays including pre and/or post stays.
Itineraries include three nights in Budapest followed by a seven-night Danube cruise with Amadeus, three nights in Prague with a 10-night Danube cruise; three nights in Amsterdam with a seven-night Rhine cruise with Amadeus; two nights in Frankfurt, a night in Cologne and a seven-night Rhine cruise with A-Rosa.
Imagine Cruising will also feature the full Viking River Cruises European programme.
