Wired UK editor to address Advantage Conference on tech

A session discussing how technology is disrupting almost every sector is to be held as part of the Advantage Conference in Turkey.

David Rowan (pictured), editor-in-chief of technology, innovation and trends magazine Wired UK, will also talk about how apps change consumer behaviour and why ‘social commerce’ is killing traditional marketing.

Rowan’s presentation at the event in Bodrum on May 14-18 will consider how technology has evolved and reveal the trends that will change the market in the next decade – and what delegates should be doing now to protect their position.

Advantage Travel Partnership business development director, Colin O’Neill, said: “What we think delegates will find particularly interesting is David’s connection with many of the world’s leading trend-setters and spotters.

“He has interviewed key figures with influence over the world of technology from the founders of Google and Spotify to James Murdoch, David Cameron and will.i.am.”

Rowan has previously written and reported on technology for The Times and Sunday Times, Channel 4 News and The Telegraph Magazine as well as editing The Guardian’s online content and commentary.  He contributes on Newsnight and the Today programme and has written a monthly column for GQ and Conde Nast Traveller.
