Tui Group-owned bedbank Hotelbeds is on track to outpace the industry this summer with an estimated 22% growth for global room night sales.
The main source markets for the May to September period are the UK, Germany, Spain and the US.
Bookings into Europe have increased by 32% year-on-year, with the top source markets being the UK, Germany, Spain and Ireland.
Spain remains the top global destination for this summer, with a 25% growth in bookings.
Spain is followed by the US and Greece, which is showing 54% growth.
Majorca, the Algarve, Benidorm and Crete are among the destinations most in demand while growth rates of more than 30% have been recorded for Italy, Croatia and Malta.
Hotelbeds managing director Carlos Muñoz said: “Our early summer bookings, with a 22% global year-on-year increase, give us confidence that 2015 will be another good year for both the tourism industry and our company.
