French river cruise operator CroisiEurope is to add four new vessels by 2017.
The company will operate 43 boats that it owns, plus five that are chartered as a result of the expansion.
The new boats include an 80-passenger paddle steamer to sail on the Elbe and Moldau rivers between Berlin and Prague from spring next year.
Hotel barge Daniele will carry 24 passengers on the Briare Canal, between Burgundy and the Loire Valley, while the 24-passenger Deborah will navigate the Garonne Canal in France from Toulouse.
Colonial-style boat Princesse Apsara, with a capacity for 60 passengers, will join the company’s four vessels on the Mekong river sailing from Siem Reap to Ho-Chi-Minh City.
