Silversea UK head of sales Priti Mehta is leaving the luxury line, prompting a change of management at the company.
Natasha Donovan becomes acting head of field sales and national accounts in the UK in the wake of Mehta’s departure.
She will take over Mehta’s duties including her responsibility for the field sales team with immediate effect.
Donovan joined Silversea in 2011 with responsibility for the London and southeast region, and most recently was appointed national accounts manager.
The line said it will shortly appoint a new commercial director to succeed Mike Bonner as head of the UK/Ireland sales and marketing team.
In a separate move, Mafalda Barreto, most recently head of corporate partnerships moves to the newly-created position of head of expedition sales, focused on driving business for Silversea Expeditions.
Silversea Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia president Steve Odell said: “Natasha is a highly-respected and well qualified member of our London sales team and we look forward to her making a great contribution to our growth.
“I’d like to thank Priti for her dedication and enthusiasm in all the work she has done since joining Silversea in 2004.
“We especially appreciate her part in the strong relationship forged with our trade partners and maintaining Silversea’s position as the leading luxury cruise company in the UK.
“We sincerely respect an excellent job done and we wish her well in her future endeavours.”
