Premier Travel promotes Steve Cox to director

Premier Travel has announced its head of retail sales, Steve Cox, will be promoted to director, starting on October 1.

Cox joined the agency – which now has 28 branches across East Anglia and southern England – as a trainee travel consultant, 32 years ago.

He progressed from branch manager of Huntingdon to regional manager in 2013, then became sales manager in 2018. At the start of last year, he took on the role of head of retail sales.

Paul Waters, managing director, said: “Steve’s passion for Premier Travel and the travel industry as a whole is truly inspiring.

“Over his 32-year tenure, he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our company’s values and mission.

“His extensive experience, combined with his unwavering enthusiasm, has made a significant impact on our growth and success.

“I have no doubt that, as director, Steve will continue to drive innovation and excellence, helping us achieve new heights.

“His dedication and leadership are exactly what we need as we look to the future, and I am thrilled to see him step into this well-deserved role.”
