PTS unveils rebrand to raise its profile and boost growth

Protected Trust Services (PTS) has undergone a rebrand to increase understanding in the trade of what it represents, improve its current image and attract new members.

The rebrand includes a new logo and revamped website designed to be simpler and easier to use. It aims to show PTS as a modern, evolving organisation.

New taglines ‘Trust in every booking’ and ‘Making selling travel simple’ replace ‘Travel with trust’.

Announcing the overhaul, PTS admitted travel companies struggled to fully identify the organisation’s current role since it was set up 15 years ago to provide financial protection solutions, including trust accounts and software tools.

The rebrand is aimed at moving PTS away from simply being known as a consortium providing trust account solutions to an organisation offering travel firms a broader range of support services. It currently has more than 400 members.

PTS said services it offers include currency hedging, merchant services, a franchise Atol, travel software, PTR compliance, trust account protection and the ability for members to choose their own travel suppliers.

The company hopes the rebrand will make it better understood and swell its membership.

Chief executive Daniel Landen said the move was part of a commitment to making travel management as stress-free as possible with flexible and affordable tools.

He said: “Protected Trust Services offers members freedom to control their business while handling the complexities behind the scenes.

“We’re simplifying travel sales and membership, emphasising growth and flexibility. This brand launch represents our commitment to evolving with the industry, ensuring our members can thrive without the typical stresses of business ownership.

“We’re making selling travel simple, while providing trusted, friendly and personalised service.”

Its new simplified website, protectedtrustservices.com, has been streamlined to provide the most important and relevant information to meet the needs of different types of businesses and make it easier for potential members to understand how PTS can support their businesses.

Improvements include more intuitive navigation, content tailored for different businesses, more contact options and more available forms.

PTS will hold its first conference in Warwickshire on September 25-27.
