Flight Centre UK promotes two after head of supply departure

Justin Penny has been promoted at Flight Centre UK to head of supply EMEA, replacing Andrew Boxall who left the business in July.

Daniel Murphy is taking over Penny’s former role as head of supply commercial EMEA.

Penny has more than 25 years of experience, almost 20 of which have been at Flight Centre Travel Group.

In his new role he will be responsible for the supply team across EMEA, for all product lines, including air, land and sea.

Murphy, who has been with the business since 2019, started his career at British Airways.

He will continue to develop the brand’s airline partnerships, while also looking after third-party leisure land procurement.

Penny said: “As we continue our rapid growth as a business, I’m extremely pleased to be leading the supply team at Flight Centre Travel Group, EMEA, to further success.

“The future is very exciting for us, particularly as we continue to strengthen our supply business and look to work even closer with our highly valued supply partners.”

Murphy added: “I’ve got big shoes to fill, but I’m looking forward to stepping up into the new role and I’m excited for the challenge.

“It’s been great to be a part of Flight Centre’s success over the past five years and I can’t wait to see what the next five has in store for us.”
