If Only reports recruitment drive success

Seven extra travel consultants have been recruited by trade-facing luxury operator If Only with staff numbers rising to more than 60.

The consultants are to work within the firm’s specialist Arabia, Indian Ocean and Asia teams. The operator is also looking for more prospective employees to join the company.

The intake of new recruits has been carried out to address growing demand and to ensure that If Only continues to offer agents the highest levels of service, the company said.

The seven new recruits will start an intensive training programme at the company headquarters near Glasgow, before ‘shadowing’ team specialists and listening in to agents’ enquiries.

Founder and managing director, Brendan Maguire, said: “We take immense pride in the level of in-house training that we offer staff, and are rewarded by excellent staff retention levels and by positive feedback and the bookings we receive from agents.

“Initially our new consultants are trained in our systems, processes and destinations before focusing their training on one of the regions in which we specialise.

“This intake of new consultants will now bring If Only’s staff level to well over 60 employees.”
