Just Go Holidays has released a dedicated collection of European battlefield coach tours for next year.
The programme features six tours, of which five are new for 2025 to remember those who fought in the First and Second World Wars.
There is a dedicated page on Just Go’s travel agent website on the collection and the tours can be found in the operator’s European brochure with a poppy icon next to each tour.
The five new breaks include: A Bridge too Far – Operation Market Garden; In Flanders Fields; Day of Days – the British D-Day story; Great Raids of WW2 -St Nazaire and Dieppe, and; A Tale of two Beaches – from Dunkirk to Normandy.
The five-day A Bridge too Far – Operation Market Garden starts from £529, based on two sharing and departing on selected dates in May, June, September and October. It traces the footsteps of fallen soldiers, visiting drop zones and key locations such as Arnhem and Oosterbeek. Prices include return coach travel from selected pick-up points across England with ferry crossing, four nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation and various excursions.
The five-day In Flanders Fields, from £469, visits the Belgian and French battlefields from the First World War such as Ypres, Arras, Passechendaele, Vimy Bridge and the Somme. The five-day Great Raids of WW2 – St Nazaire & Dieppe, from £599, stays in three different locations, to look back at some of the most dramatic operations of the Second World War, including Operation Jubilee, Operation Chariot and the Battle for Caan.
Claire Dutton, trades sales manager, Just Go Holidays, said: “We’ve created a dedicated collection of itineraries for next year that will appeal to every generation who want to learn more and pay their respect to the fallen heroes. I’d encourage all agents to tell their customer base that they can book these historic breaks through them.”
Most breaks include a specialist Battlefields guide to uncover even more history of the regions visited.
