Hays Travel has revealed it will host its 2025 annual overseas retail conference at the Aldemar Olympian Village in Greece.
Jonathon Woodall-Johnston, the agency’s chief operating officer, announced the location on the final night of this year’s event at the Ela Excellence Resort Belek in Turkey.
The 2025 edition will be held from November 10-14, he said, adding that this was the first time that details of the following year’s conference had been shared a year in advance.
More than 450 branch managers attended the gathering this week, with speakers including Institute of Customer Service chief executive Jo Causon.
Delegates were told of the agency’s plans to open more shops in 2025 and they were encouraged to increase their share of long-haul bookings.
Dame Irene Hays, chair of the business, described the conference as “crucial”, telling agents: “This is a great opportunity for us all to get together and for you to tell me all about the things we could be doing better.”
