Wizz Air has revamped its fare structure, replacing premium and premium plus levels with a new category.
The central and eastern European budget carrier’s new plus fare is in additional option to its basic fare with greater flexibility for passengers.
The plus fare includes 32kg checked-in baggage, a large cabin bag, airport check-in, travel date changes, seat selection and priority boarding services.
The airline claims the new category provides a discounted package of ancillary services over its basic flight ticket-only fare where extras have to be bought separately.
“In order to streamline this new offering, sales of Wizz premium and premium plus products have been discontinued,” the airline said.
Chief commercial officer, György Abrán, said: “I am pleased to announce our new ‘Plus Fare’ as Wizz continues to constantly improve the travel experience for its customers, providing them with more options and flexibilty to ensure they have a pleasant journey from beginning to end.
“We have seen a demand for additional services from our customers and we are happy to provide them with this all-in-one discounted package.”
