Tipto has hosted its 11th annual Afternoon Tea and revealed news to run more events than ever this year.
In total, 60 travel agents and Tipto suppliers, attended a Mad Hatters-themed networking afternoon tea at the Sanderson Hotel in London.
At the event, chairman Nick Hughes announced the supplier marketing body would hold 22 agent roadshows, of which one will be a solus event for Dawson & Sanderson, until the end of June, plus two SuperShows, in locations yet to be confirmed.
It also plans two new invite-only events on board Ambassador Cruise Line, and two race days in the summer instead of one. The events and locations have yet to be finalised.
Hughes said: “It’s Tipto’s 26th year and we’re already seeing attendance at our roadshows is better than ever, with 60 agents per event so far this year. It shows agents see the value of Tipto.”
Tipto recently announced two new members, RateHawk and Exoticca, bringing its total to 25 suppliers. “We cannot take any more members currently but it shows there is continual interest in Tipto,” said Hughes.
