Secret Atlas has partnered with cruise reservation system Cabin Select to “increase efficiency” in its booking process for both trade partners and direct customers.
The micro-cruise specialist, which launched in 2019 and focuses on expeditions for 12 to 48 guests in the Arctic and Antarctic, has reached an agreement with the travel tech company to integrate content, pricing and live availability as well as multi-language support and multi-cabin options in to its website.
The aim is for the booking process, from creating through to managing, “friction free”.
Secret Atlas joined The Expedition Cruise Network last year to boost its relationship with the trade.
Michele D’Agostino, Secret Atlas co-founder, said: “We created the expedition micro-cruise concept to help adventurous travellers explore the polar regions with as much flexibility and little environmental impact as possible.
“Our sector is niche, and Cabin Select offers the opportunity to improve the booking experience adding real-time data, local currencies, multiple checkout methodologies for an improved efficiency making it easier for guests and trade partners to book and manage an Expedition Micro Cruise with us.”
Kevin Walker, Cabin Select chief strategy officer, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Secret Atlas to the Cabin Select website.
“Secret Atlas is the first micro-cruise brand to come onboard and opens the inventory available to agents with clients interested in an expedition cruise to the polar regions.”
