Bookings open for Airport Operators Association conference

Bookings have opened for the Airport Operators Association annual conference, being held for the first time this year with the British Air Transport Association, British Airline Representatives in the UK and the Royal Aeronautical Society.

The conference will be moderated by ITN news anchor Natasha Kaplinsky at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London on November 23-24.

The AOA says a number of high profile speakers have been confirmed and will be revealed more in the coming weeks.

The conference and adjoining exhibition is targeted at airport, airline, aerospace and travel executives and managers, government officials, regulators, industry stakeholders and the media.

AOA chief executive, Darren Caplan, said: “With a new government in place, and important decisions to be made on areas such as airport capacity, the UK’s future Air Passenger Duty regime and how we can better make our country a more attractive destination for visitors, 2015 is destined to be a seminal year for the future of our sector.

“We have got some excellent speakers lined up, both from Westminster and across the aviation and travel industries, and we’re looking forward to two days of fascinating debate.”
