n Blanc takes top post at rosenbluth



Rosenbluth International has appointed Claude Blanc as director, business development Europe. Blanc replaces Pieter Rieder who is now acting vice-president for Europe, Africa, India andAustralasia for Rosenbluth.



n Ayscough winsdailycer account



Ayscough Travel has won the business travel account of manufacturer Dailycer, based in Chester and Telford. The account will be managed by Ayscough Travel’s Manchester centre.



n Cunard wins $50m refund from kvaerner



Cunard Line’s current owner, CarnivalCorporation, has received an estimated $50m refund from its previous owner Kvaerner after Carnival claimed the $500m it paid for the cruiseline last year was too much. Kvaerner has admitted that Carnival had been seeking a refund. A spokesman said:”What Carnival bought is not what they thought they had bought in terms of Cunard’s performance and financial earningscapability.”



n gatwick expresss launches new logo



Gatwick Express has launched a new logo. It is part of a £50m investment which includes replacing all existing trains with new rolling stock later this year. Some £80,000 will be spent on new uniforms, train interiors, livery and an advertising campaign.
