Itinerary: operates a single itinerary year-round on Saturdays from Papeete, calling at Riatea, the private island of Tahaa, Bora Bora and Moorea. Occasionally the ship carries out a two-week itinerary to the Marquesas, very remote islands where the painter Paul Gauguin spent the final years of his life. For this, cruise passenger capacity is limited to 250 because the islands are so small.


Cost: one-week cruise only costs £1,500, one-week fly-cruise £2,270; two-week Marquesas cruise costs £5,360 including flights.
