AYSCOUGH Travel has opened a new office in Swindon after seeing a growth in the region’s business community over the past few years.
The premises, based at Shrivenham Hundred Business Park, is Ayscough’s ninth office.
Operations manager Karen Lees said Swindon’s local economy is growing, with over 6,100 business sites and a higher than average number of large companies operating out of the town. In 1998, 23 companies relocated to Swindon creating more than 400 jobs.
Lees said:”We recognised a need amongst the business community of Swindon for a professional independent travel management company.
Ayscough has also signed a deal with Scottish Media Group, arranging travel for businesses including Scottish and Grampian Television.
