ARTAC Worldchoice has said it will co-operate with the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation on condition that all its tour operator members have commercial agreements with the consortium.
ARTAC chairman Colin Heal said: “If there are one or more TIPTO members that we do not do business with, we would have to have safeguards in place.”
TIPTO founder and Cadogan Holidays managing director Gary David said if there turned out to be any TIPTO members that did not have existing agreements with ARTAC, they would not be represented during visits to the consortium’s agencies.
