EasyJet today maintained its improved full-year profits forecast of between £675 million to £700 million while releasing September passenger statistics.
The budget airline saw passenger numbers rise by 7.6% last month to 6.6 million over September 2014.
The load factor rose by 0.9 percentage points to 93.1% in the month.
The September performance resulted in the annual rolling passenger total growing by 6% to more than 68 million with a load factor of 91.5%.
“EasyJet’s full year profit before tax guidance continues to be within a range of £675 million to £700 million for the year to 30 September 2015, as previously guided in the trading update released on 3 September 2015,” the airline said.
The previous guidance suggested annual profits of between £620 million and £660 million.
