Azamara Club Cruises will offer its first round-the-world sailing in 2018.
Richard Twynam, UK managing director of the cruise line, announced part of the line’s deployment plans at a Destination Panel for key trade partners.
The sailing on Azamara Journey (pictured) will be for more than 100 days, sailing from Sydney to Tower Bridge in London. It will feature nine of the line’s Azamazing Evenings.
Twynam said: “I believe 2018 is our strongest deployment year and we’re delighted to be offered a journey around the world.
“The world journey is the most creative destination itinerary we have ever had,” I think this is going to sell out very, very quickly.”
He said further details would be available before the cruise goes on sale in mid-November.
Other 2018 itineraries will coincide with various sporting events and festivals around the world.
Two sailings will include tickets to the Fifa World Cup, while other sailings will incorporate Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.
