EasyJet sees October passenger numbers rise 10%

The number of passengers carried by easyJet last month jumped by almost 10% over October 2014.


Carryings were up to 6.3 million due to the 9.7% increase.


The budget airline also saw its load factor improve by 2.5 percentage points to 93.3%.


The October figures give easyJet a rolling annual total of more than 69 million passengers, up 6.3% year-on-year.


The airline reiterated its previous guidance that annual pre-tax profit for the year to September 30 would continue to be in the range of €675 million-€700 million.
