British Airways today followed easyJet in cancelling all flights from the UK to Sharm el-Sheikh until the new year.
All BA flights to the Egyptian Red Sea resort have been suspended up to and including January 14 – a week longer than easyJet.
BA said: “Following advice from the UK government concerning flights between the UK and Sharm el-Sheikh we are cancelling services to from the resort until we receive further reassurance about the security situation at the airport.
“Customers who were due to travel on these services will be contacted and can claim a full refund, a rebook to a later date or the opportunity to switch to an alternate destination.”
