The GBTA is to set up a working party to evaluate the changing needs ofcorporate clients. It will discuss issues such as marketing and management fees. The working party,called Value Plus, will be led by Portman Travel managing director Graham Flack.
n number of female travellers rises by 1%
The number of female
business travellers has grown by only 1% in the last 10 years. Research presented to the GBTA showed 10% of all business travellers in 1988 were female, compared to 11% so far this year. In the US, female business travellers account for 25% of the business travel market.
