Changes strengthen news team

TRAVEL Weekly has made several changes to strengthen its news team.

Lisa James has been appointed to the position of deputy news editor.

Lisa has been at Travel Weekly for three years and was most recently working on the features desk. As well as deputising for the news editor, Lisa will report on business travel.

Meanwhile, both Paul Norris and Tanya Jefferies have been promoted to senior reporters.

Travel Weekly editor Jeremy Skidmore said:”All three thoroughly deserve their promotions. Our news team has consistently led the way in reporting the major stories in the industry. These changes will further strengthen the team.”

Paul Norris will continue to report on aviation; Tanya Jefferies will report on cruising, ferries and tourism; and Dinah Robinson will now cover hotels, technology and transport.
