AS THE leading carrier from Northern Ireland, we were rather surprised to discover our extensive services to and from the province did not appear in your UK and Ireland feature (Travel Weekly May 17).
While we appreciate this was due to an oversight by the editorial team, we were concerned that the absence of our services from the feature would be baffling to our travel trade partners and would create considerable confusion.
Carrying in excess of 500,00 passengers a year from the province, Jersey European Airways operates daily services from Belfast City toBirmingham, Blackpool, Bristol, Cork, Exeter, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Leeds, Bradford, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Toulouse and Paris Charles de Gaulle (as part of a franchise agreement with Air France). We provide between four and five services daily on our routes from Belfast City to Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, London Stansted and Paris Charles de Gaulle and carry around 10,000 passengers between Belfast and London each week.
Jersey European also offers a range of fares to suit the demands of leisure and business travellers, starting at £68 return including Passenger Service Charge and Air Passenger Duty. We have also recently doubled the size of our Business Class lounge at Belfast City Airport, with a new hand baggage only check-in facility, and renovated our general check-in area, providing a more convenient service for all passengers.
