More than £120,000 has been raised through a partnership between Luton airport and Sue Ryder.
A fundraising target of £85,000 set in 2014 was exceeded by 50%.
The money has enabled a local care centre, the Bedfordshire-based St John’s Hospice, to deliver over 8,700 hours of care.
Money-raising activities have included cycling to Brussels from the airport, a summer fair in torrential rain, quiz nights, cake sales and donations from passengers.
Airport community relations officer, Chika Austin, said: “We are absolutely amazed by the amount we’ve raised over the past two years.
“Sixty per cent of funds were raised through employee-led activities, which alongside the generosity of our passengers and sponsors has made this partnership a huge success.
“We feel fortunate to be able to make this large contribution to Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice.”
