Former Affordable Car Hire operations and marketing director, Natalie McLean, has taken up a role with Online Travel Training (OTT).
McLean, who was with Affordable for six years, began her role as business development manager at OTT on Monday January 4, after a week’s introduction shortly before Christmas.
She left Affordable in October to “have some time out and refocus” before being approached by OTT.
“I had already been working with OTT because we bought into their training at Affordable,” she said. “They know what they want and have a strong strategy and unique product.
“My role is to work with the team here to get partners on board. I will be focusing on the destinations and leisure market for 19 countries, including the UK.”
While McLean’s role at OTT, which is based in Islington, London, is very different to the one she held at Affordable, she feels the two companies are aligned in terms of their “values and synergies”.
“It is just a different product,” she said. “I am really excited – having worked with OTT in the past I am aware of its unique selling points and worth.”
