Kuoni’s head of trade sales Amanda Darrington is leaving the business to join Funway Holidays.
Darrington will start at Funway in the newly created position of sales director on March 14 and will be responsible for raising the profile of the brand in the UK market. Reporting into managing director Stephen Rhodes, Darrington will also be responsible for growing business through the trade.
She joined Kuoni seven years ago and has been central to growing the company’s partnership programme.

Darrington said: “I’ve had seven awesome years at Kuoni UK but it felt the right time to move on and further my career with a fast-growing company where I can use my skills to make a real difference.
“I’m proud of all we’ve achieved with the partner strategy at Kuoni and I leave a fantastic team who will continue to drive it forward.
“My ambition for Funway is to convey the expertise the team have for travelling to the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Moving forward it’s important we build relationships to ensure our agent partners utilise that knowledge when finding their customer’s ideal holiday.”
